Day 1: Delhi/Haridwar to Haridwar / Rishikesh

Option 1: From Delhi
Travel from Delhi to Haridwar by AC Volvo bus or train (6-7 hours), or by private vehicle (for customized options).
If you are starting from Haridwar, the journey will be more direct to Rishikesh or Joshimath.
Arrival in Haridwar/Rishikesh:
After check-in at the hotel, relax and freshen up.
You can explore Har Ki Pauri for the evening Ganga Aarti or visit Rishikesh for spiritual sights like Triveni Ghat or Lakshman Jhula.

Haridwar or Rishikesh.

Day 2: Haridwar/Rishikesh to Guptkashi/Phata

Morning:
After breakfast, depart for Guptkashi or Phata (8–9 hours by road).
The travel is scenic as you approach the foothills of the Himalayas.
Arrival at Guptkashi/Phata:
Check-in at your accommodation.
Rest and prepare for your journey to Kedarnath.

Day 3: Guptkashi/Phata to Kedarnath

Morning:
After breakfast, take a helicopter ride (if included in your package) or begin your trek (about 16 km) to Kedarnath. The helicopter ride is a quicker and easier option, but trekking gives you a chance to experience the spiritual journey on foot.
Arrival at Kedarnath:
Upon arrival, visit the Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is situated at a height of 3,583 meters and is surrounded by breathtaking mountains.
You can also visit the Kedarnath Caves and Bhairon Temple (which requires a short trek).

Day 4: Kedarnath to Guptkashi/Phata

Morning:
Morning Darshan:
Visit the temple again for Maha Abhishek Aarti if possible or attend the morning aarti at the Kedarnath Temple.
Return to Guptkashi/Phata:
After your darshan and prayers, either take the helicopter ride back or trek down to Guptkashi/Phata.
