Itinerary for Char Dham Yatra from Dehradun by Helicopter
Day 1: Dehradun to Yamunotri
Arrival in Dehradun:
Arrive at Dehradun and meet with the Holidays Yatra team at the Jolly Grant Airport.
Helicopter Ride to Yamunotri:
Take a helicopter ride from Dehradun to Yamunotri (approx. 45 minutes flight).
Upon arrival at Kharsali (the nearest helipad to Yamunotri), take a short palki or pony ride (5 km) to the Yamunotri Temple.
Darshan and Pujas at Yamunotri:
Visit the Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
Perform puja and take a dip in the Surya Kund hot spring.
Helicopter Ride to the Next Destination:
After completing the Yamunotri darshan, return to Kharsali and take the helicopter back to Dehradun.
Overnight Stay:
Stay in Dehradun for the night.
Day 2: Dehradun to Gangotri
Morning Helicopter Ride to Gangotri:
After breakfast, take a helicopter ride from Dehradun to Gangotri (about 45 minutes).
Arrive at Gangotri:
Arrive at the Gangotri helipad, and drive a short distance to the Gangotri Temple (approx. 30-40 minutes).
Darshan and Pujas at Gangotri:
Visit the Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, where the Ganga River originates.
You can perform the sacred puja and take a holy dip in the river.
Helicopter Ride to Kedarnath:
After your darshan, return to the Gangotri helipad for your next helicopter flight to Kedarnath.
Overnight Stay:
Return to Dehradun in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Dehradun to Kedarnath
Morning Helicopter Ride to Kedarnath:
Take a helicopter ride from Dehradun to Kedarnath (approximately 1 hour).
Upon arrival at the Kedarnath helipad, transfer to the Kedarnath Temple (5–10 minutes drive).
Darshan and Pujas at Kedarnath:
Visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the most important pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Attend the morning Aarti or perform your own puja in the temple.
You may also visit Bhairon Temple, which is located a short trek away from the main temple.
Helicopter Ride to Badrinath:
After darshan, return to the Kedarnath helipad for a flight to Badrinath.
Overnight Stay:
Return to Dehradun or stay in a nearby hotel in Badrinath depending on the itinerary.
Day 4: Dehradun to Badrinath
Morning Helicopter Ride to Badrinath:
After breakfast, take a helicopter ride to Badrinath (1 hour flight).
Darshan and Pujas at Badrinath:
Upon arrival, visit the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
You can also visit Tapt Kund, Mata Murti Temple, and Charan Paduka.
Attend the evening Aarti at the temple.
Return to Dehradun:
After your darshan and sightseeing, take a return helicopter flight back to Dehradun.
Overnight Stay:
Stay in Dehradun after completing the darshan at all four temples.
Day 5: Departure from Dehradun
After breakfast, your Char Dham Yatra concludes.
You can either relax in Dehradun or proceed for your onward journey to Delhi or any other destination.

Important Tips:
Altitude Considerations:

Clothing:
Even in the summer months, temperatures can be chilly at high altitudes. Carry warm clothes, especially for evenings and mornings at the temples.
